As a friend, you've done everything in your power to help her.

Sometimes, you just gotta let them do what they want to do, let them experience life the way they choose to. I've had this experience before, I tried so hard to help friends, but in the end they just push me away. You feel guilty because you've failed to help them as a friend, but know this, you have done more than enough. You gave them suggestions, got them a counsellor, and in the end they still won't listen. Before you help them, you have to make sure they WANT to be helped.

If they don't, all you can do is just sit in the sidelines and wait until their ready and be there for them.
