Uh, help?

Hi. I'm new.. some advice would be appreciated.

Basically, this girl I know/go to school with, recently I found out she's bisexual, and I can see myself having a thing for her.

We like the same type of music/bands and other stuff, but we haven't really hung out outside of school before. After realizing how much we do have in common and all, messaging on Friendster I said we should hang out some time, and she said definitely. So now we're hanging out sometime next week, which'll be fun (as friends, of course).

On my Friendster I don't have anything selected for 'interested in'.. just thought I'd point that out for the next part.

Anyway, so I don't know if I should tell her I'm gay or just play things out and see what happens. I just don't wanna make it awkward if I DO say something, you know? I don't want her to avoid hanging out with me or something like that.. or make it seem like I'm promiscuous or what-have-you.

But my reasoning behind why I SHOULD tell her is that if I don't, she might be like, 'well we have a lot in common and I kinda like her but she's straight so I have to forget about anything more than friends' and I don't want that to happen. So, I don't know... opinions?
