Inhibition most likely about being too 'direct'. One thing I notice about Americans and a few Britons is despite a lot of sexualisation in the media, they are conservatives when it comes to discussing sex or sexuality - proof is the gigantic vocabulary of terms - all to refer to the sexual organs, penis and vagina. Nations of prudes, apart from the Islamic countries, Anglo-Saxon countries are among the only ones which have laws that looks like they simply despise sex.
