Congrats on the baby

My suggestion is let your kid do what he/she wants to do. Don't force him to be goth, let him figure out his own thing. What may be good for you may not be right for him.

Just because you're gothic or whatever, doesn't mean your child will be picked on. It's more likely, but not guranteed. Kids will find any thing to insult eachother, and almost never know how bad it hurts them. Just watch how you dress around little kids. Be considerate of other parents too, don't be like some of the parents around here that wear shirts that say "I FUCK NUNS" or something across the back.
