you can still have sex when you have your period.
people prefer not to because its messy.

dont wear tampons to bed. you're at risk with toxic shock.
he will probably not notice you have your period.
just wear two pads together to bed (thats what i do) and in the morning change them and put them in a plastic bag and throw them in his garbage bin.
and if you use tampons, use them until you go to bed next.
