im a cutter and i do it more for the release then anything. it makes me relise that im still alive but at the same time numbs my emotions. i dont do it with the intent to die, in a way its the complete opposite. i do it to stop myself from killing myself. it helps me to stay alive and cope with the stuff that makes me cut.
