I would say something like "look, i know how you feel about me"...if you start with something like that, then your both on the same level, and theres no tiptoing around the situation. When she opens up to you, try not to feel too bad for this girl, if you start sympathizing with her, you might say or do something you will regret.

Just get everything out in the open and tell her you still want to be awesome friends!!
