Like some people've said, just go on and tell your closest friends. I'm bi as well, and it took me forever to get up the nerve to tell my two best friends. When I did, though, one of them said she had thought for a long time that I was and was really glad that I got up the nerve to tell her, and the other (who is homophobic, no joke) said she didn't approve but she loved me too much to care. A while after that, I didn't go around telling people, but I didn't deny it if they asked, and now I'm pretty sure most people I'm friends with at all know. I don't directly tell anybody, though.

I told my mum by accident shortly after I started dating my girlfriend (whom I have been dating for almost 11 months). I'm still not exactly sure what she thinks of it, to be honest.

But I guess just go for it or don't, depending on how you think people will react.
