It's always good to be honest at first, and just introduce them, you know nothing real in depth. Your parent's will always ask questions later, of course they're curious. That's up to you if you want to share with them or not.

It's also kind of smart to keep them around you at first, somewhere near your parents. Things get more loose from there, depending on how your parents are anyways.
