I love soccer, I play it every day if I can, and I have a season ticket at Sunderland. Unfortunately, (and this is the most confusing thing) former British colonies aren't very big on soccer. Fair enough, there are exceptions, such as Carribean islands, but the 'big' colonies such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States just don't seem to bother very much with it.
