* Prone to addictions

* An old soul, as if youâre 13 going on 43

* Intuitive or psychic, possibly with a history of seeing angels or deceased people

* An isolationist, either through aggressive acting-out, or through fragile introversion

* Independent and proud, even if you constantly ask others (i.e. your parents) for money

* In possession of a deep desire to help the world in a big way

* Wavering between low self-esteem and grandiosity

* Easily bored

* Prone to insomnia, restless sleep, nightmares, or difficulty/fear of falling asleep

If you checked more than half of the above listed, you might want to read on.

Indigo Children represent a special breed of individuals who have come to our planet to bestow us with their gifts. Theyâre here to change our political, educational, nutritional, family, and other systems. Theyâre also here to help all of us reach our potential by becoming more natural and more intuitive.

Yet there are some people who resent the change these children represent. They would like the school system to remain in its present state, and theyâd like the Indigo Children to comply. Since you canât force Indigo Children to do anything, and they see coercion as a form of dishonest manipulation, drugging is being used as an insidious method of making the Indigo Child âfit in.â

Indigo Children are often labeled ADD or ADHD, meaning that they either have Attention Deficit Disorder or Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder, respectively. But these children arenât disordered â the world theyâre trying to fit into is! Itâs filled with unnaturalness and dishonesty.

In our modern world, people lie to themselves and each other subsisting on processed food and dirty air. Each day, they go to jobs they hate and detach from their underlying feelings of discontentment. These children, on the other hand, arenât equipped with the ability to dissociate and lie to themselves. Theyâre incredibly telepathic and have too much integrity to betray themselves. In a way Indigo Children are healthy role models for all of us.

Some of the most common behavioral patterns of Indigos (according to Jan Tober, co-author of THE INDIGO CHILDREN):

1) They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it).

2) They have a feeling of âdeserving to be here,â and are surprised when others donât share that.

3) Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents âwho they are.â

4) They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).

5) They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.

6) They get frustrated with systems that are ritual oriented and donât require creative thought.

7) They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and at school, which makes them seem like âsystem bustersâ (nonconforming to any system).

8) They seem antisocial unless theyâre with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often difficult for them socially.

9) They will not respond to âguiltâ discipline (âWait until your father gets home.â)

10) They arenât shy about letting you know what they need.

Perhaps ADHD actually stands for:
