Well... then its no, dont usually ask until like 15 minutes before you plan on leaving, cause then you know that if it gets awkward, you will be leaving soon, and if she says no, but you can still be friends or gives you a hug or something... well then, she thinks of you as like her brother and then your SOL. But she wont say no so its ok.
