Texting or MSN? A great way is to speak to them about somthing which has happend to them like a event which may of upset them, if that doesn't work, then go to a town etc, speak to them with a huge group of your friends and theirs, then you can speak to them afterwards about the events and have a joke. A lively group of you useally helps as it's somthing to joke about.
