College

Posted 09-24-2008 at 02:42 PM by JCpatriots
Well, I just recently started college earlier this month. I've been talking classes for about 3 weeks now. I am taking college writing, history, calculus, and a reading class for my 4 classes this semester. No idea why I need the reading class, but that's besides the point.

Anyway, in my first few weeks, I have come to realize that college really is a whole lot different from high school. You are more responsible for yourself than in high school. No teachers lecturing you to be on class in time, to hand in your work on time, no make up tests, etc.

In college, you are responsible for your own destiny, and you need to stay on top of everything or you are gonna fall behind very quickly.

I enjoy the experience so far, it has allowed me to feel more independent, and to be responsible for my own actions more than ever before.
