Hurricane Sandy

My Aunt and Uncle live in Stone Harbor NJ and they got evacuated already, but the same thing happened last year and Aunt and my cousins went to my othe cousin's house and they lost power there. Meanwhile my uncle stayed home and was fine he didn't lose power or anything. Its going to be perfectly fine just like the one last year, we might lose a trash can or some lawn chair but its going to alright

I don't know if you realize, but this hurricane is meeting up with a cold front and a jet stream. It's going to be worst than Irene. Also, the infrastructure of a lot of the homes in the state of Maryland (like my home) aren't built to withstand the impact of a hurricane because we didn't start to get hurricanes only up until a couple of years ago

And Pepco which is the electricity company in my area SUCKS DICK. One of the worst in the country

The only reason I am worried about the hurricane is if it shuts off power and makes me miss some of my TV shows. >_>

Sounds like you need to get a better house. Also you should get a generator installed in your house, I have one that runs off the natural gas lines and it will power everything in my house.

YES! No school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! New York City has also decided to completely shut down ALL public transportation systems and schools starting at 7 P.M. tonight EST and going on for the next 2 days. The same goes for Virginia and New Jersey

This sounds like it's going to be the biggest hurricane this year so far

The mayor of New York just ordered an evacuation to 76 underground shelters within the city for people that live near the water. Shelters that haven't been used in years

This is so sad

it's only a category 1 storm. you people need to live in florida a year to really experience what a hurricane is about. you wouldn't be behaving like pussies over this
