Grinding teeth in sleep.

Anyone else have this problem? I was half asleep last night and was constantly grinding and clenching my teeth in my sleep >< no wonder they're so sensitive. I get paranoid about my teeth as it is

Re: Grinding teeth in sleep.

A Brit who cares about their teeth? Bullshit!

Anyway, supposedly things like stress+ caffeine intake lead to that. Not sure how true it is but I wouldn't be shocked.

Get a mouth guard, better to look like a fool while you sleep than worsen your English stereotype.

Fuck off hmm could be stress? As I don't drink any caffeine.

My English teeth are lovely I have a retainer I used to wear from my braces but it doesn't fit because of my fucking wisdom teeth >< think I might have too. It was horrifying!

Re: Grinding teeth in sleep.

I grind my teeth all the time and i usually don't even notice when i do. It's an old habit i can't get rid of. i don't do it very strongly but it still not very healthy.

Re: Grinding teeth in sleep.

Maybe try having some sort of mints or gum at hand during the day when you're awake to help prevent the grinding? :/ It'd definitely be worth your while taking Jordan's advice though.

Re: Grinding teeth in sleep.

I do the same thing when I sleep! I'd actually not realized it until my dentist was like "Stress much?" lmao. I don't do it when I'm awake, so I just got a retainer/mouthguard to use and it definitely seems to help.
