False. This is a myth. You can tell yourself this all you want, but the fact is that there are plenty of people who criticize others (and those people take it negatively because they aren't happy with the fact that the comment wasn't praising their appearance only) who have absolutely no insecurities about their own appearance.

And seriously this site needs to update the fucking spell check. Gets annoying being told I'm spelling HALF OF A WORD wrong.

I agree with you in a way. I think I can accept criticism quite well actually :/
BUT it's not really necessary to criticize.

People do that, because they want to get reactions out of others here. It's a 50/50 risk they're taking...either the criticism is positive or negative. Most people do it anyway, then when they hear the negative comments...they cry a river. It's annoying.

If you want someone to see what you look like, put your ugly mug in your avatar like so many people here feel the need to do and pollute the forums.
If you are going to put a picture in an album, knowing there is the ability to make comments, you're stupid to not expect to get comments.

Maybe this site should update itself and give the option to block comments...unless it has already and it's just not apparent.

No, it's not necessary to upload pictures, you're right. But one of those is ruining somebodies day (in many cases) one is not. So they're not equal

As in looking for it. Nobody WANTS it, but they get it anyway in life, so they accept it and move on, some cannot accept it and whine over it.

Are you one of them who actually wants to get criticised? Then maybe I'll take back my statement.

... I like criticism. I think it gives me an idea of what people think of me.

So, posting isn't necessary, it's also at a risk of not beeing agreed with, but people still do it; that's not the point. People want to post pictures, it's their business. They get negative or positive criticism, it's their call on how to take it.

They just start being a little baby when somebody tells them the truth about their appearance. Like now, I would say something negative about your appearance in that avatar...but I don't want to hurt your feelings.

I agree in the sense that they shouldn't post them if they can't take criticism, but I also don't think that we should go about targeting teh unfortunate looking.
