Money: 16,082 My Mood: Points: 25,174, Level: 38 | | Still awake. . .stewing Even we Greeks feel the heat and right now the temp up here is registering 29.5 which is around the 80 mark but the humidity has rocketed because still the friggin air con's not working and I suppose this has become a bit of a laugh for me because I'm as wide awake as the owl is hooting outside.
But, I have company though not the human kind. (1) down by the fireplace where a pile of logs are is a kind of gnawing sound. Looking further I get to see a family of beetles happily munching wood for their dinner. And (2) just a few minutes ago a kangaroo type little brown mouse came by. He stopped, stared at me, sat back on his haunches and washed his cute face in his little brown paws.
So. . .what's the option? Stand beneath a cold shower and dive into bed? Or what about a 5th cup of tea? All suggestions welcome. As long as they're polite, I'll come by later.

Was just nodding off when next door's cockerel started up and then a dog began yapping. It's like this sometimes. Too hot to sleep because the villa we're in acts like a storage heater, and before ya know it, it's daylight again.
Drinking tea now. Roll on Saturday night.

The city I am right now, stays the same always. 27-29 highest temp and 18-20 lowest. A few degrees up in summers and just a few degrees below in winters.

Money: -377 | Re: Still awake. . .stewing Haha, I saw that (29 C) and thought, "That's beautiful weather." But then you brought up being inside and the humidity and yeah, I can see how that'd ruin it. At this time of year in California, we're still typically getting whether in the 100's ( 37 C +), but it's only been in the 90's lately. Been keeping it 25C/78F inside. Though obviously it would depend what one's used to.
