There are two Macs and one PC in my house. The PC has had enough problems with XP, so we're not going to upgrade it to Vista.

All other XPs look crap and I hate everything about Vista except the funky effect when you ALT+Tab.

Vista is absolute GARBAGE.

Take away the eyecandy BS and you're left with:
-Purposely slowed down transfers of large files (to "hurt pirates")
-Horrible use of system resources (500mb+++ of your memory is used just for the damn EYE CANDY and not for anything beneficial)

God the list of things screwed up with Vista goes on forever. Vista is in no way beneifical. For the love of god, if you like the vista eyecandy, get stardock or some other skin program and get a vista skin on your Windows XP computer.

Windows XP 64 has become 100x more stable than Vista64 or Vista32 for that matter, something I never thought would happen.

Vista doesn't have "more power" than XP. Vista is just an unstable windows with eyecandy that takes 500+mb of memory to run, with virtually no benefit.

Well, That's a fat lie.. I have nothing running over 200MB let alone 500+MB.. And If Vista was so unstable why is it on the market it.. Why are loads of people using it, WHY.. Am I enjoying using it.. Because it's good.

I've only used Vista on my friends computer, and I hate it, she hates it, and my dad (works with computers, knows that kind of stuff) really doesn't want me to get it. So I'm deffinatly guessing that I'll like XP better. I don't notice much of a difference... it was just moderinized to my eyes.
