Forums vs MySpace

Who all is really into this business of using forums on a daily basis. As many of you can tell (from my signature), I have been into forums for quite some time. In fact, I got so tired of just using them that I had to start my own free forum hosting site and am now working on my own forum software.

However, social networks such as MySpace seem to be drawing a lot of attention. Do yall think forums will stop being used in the near future? I don't really think so because even MySpace has a forum on their site.

I use both forums and Myspace daily.
I tend to be more on here lately though.

I always used forums... Mainly Teen Hut.
Myspace, Bebo and Facebook and all the rest.. I just get bored of them from time to time..

Myspace might get stopped using so much not forums. Forums are much more entertainment than social networking sites.

well i havent been on the net for like 3 weeks lol anyways i only use some forums and i have a myspace too to be honest i find both easy to use but if i had to choose i would defo go with myspace.

I agree; for some reason also, people on forums tend to be better talkers than myspacers.

I use and prefer MySpace more , mainly because I'm conversing with people I know face-to-face, so I can relate to them better. With forums, I usually join, spend perhaps a month very active, and the activity just slowly reduces until I stop visiting. I always tell myself with each new forum that it'll be different, but to be honest, I spend far less time on here than I did. I poke my head into the Debates and Discussion board and others sometimes, update my work on the Creativity board, and really only spend any longer time on the Films and Music board. You probably won't be hearing from me at all in a couple of months :P

Myspace all the way. This is the first, and only forum I've ever used. And unfortunetly, I always forget to log on on here.
