And yes you can definitely need much more than 2 gb, if your doing heavy gaming and video editing, etc...
Running Vista Ultimate 32-bit. As stated above I'm running 2GB 667. I have not run into ANY case where I need more. I am a heavy gamer and have NEVER seen my memory in use go above 1.5GB. At start up it uses around 700MB.
2GB is just perfect for gamers. :P You don't need much more.
My friend built me my computer and it has 6 gigs of ram XD Not sure why I need that suff but he said that I would thank him later. I think he just likes making show off computers personally.
I have 1gb on this laptop and 2gb Samsung 800Mhz which was cheap from bowlers fair in Manchester, lucky memory is probably the cheapest most useful thing you can buy for your PC since you can run more apps and read/write is faster,its complex to amateurs.
