Hey guys,

So I use facebook to talk to my friends and I add applications. Unfortunately I came across a scam by a company named Mobile Messenger. So I just wanted to get the word out to be careful when you add applications. If a new window pops up, close it! I unfortuneately did not and now my cell phone is being charged for something that i "signed up" for.

There is a lot of info about it **edit by PB - advertising**. If you're interested you can google search it.

Hope I helped someone! And let me know if you have any ideas about how to stop companies like these. I think it's really wrong but I feel like I can't do anything about it.

Any chance we could get more info? There seem to be alot of things related to the term "Mobile messenger" like what's it promise to do, ie stuff like that. Are you sure that you didn't accedently sign up for the official Facebook Mobile and get charged for it by your phone company?

I don't really have too much more info, and I think maybe there is a rule against adding links or maybe identifying names to your messages. I would write the company's contact info here but I don't think i can, sorry.

I am sure I didn't sign up for Facebook Mobile. There are bunch of different sites that you might be taken to. About crushes, celebrity gossip etc all run by Mobile Messenger.

I think the main thing is that you should be wary if a new window pops up, as i'm sure there are more companies like Mobile Messenger out there.
