Every time I log out and close the program I have to go to this little site here. > Windows Live Messenger
I have to go there to "install" Windows Live again, so I can Log On. I'm not sure why I have to do this. There is a "Windows Live" Icon on my computer, but the problem is, when I click on it I get taken to this really dull, old looking MSN. It's not Windows Live, or at least not the one I have been using. How can I fix this?
This wasn't much of an issue before, because it was only me who would use this computer. Now, my brother is home and runs in and out while I'm at school. I'm not really fond of the idea of leaving it up. |

Okay, all windows xp OS come with something called Windows Messenger.
That is the old one you are seeing. It's best if you just delete it so you never have to see it.
You still have Windows Live Messenger installed, most likely.
Go to Start > All Programs > Windows Live
and you'll see it there.
drag the icon into your quick links, or on your desktop or start menu for easy access to it. I hope this helps, tell me if it doesn't. |

I couldn't find the old MSN on the "add or remove programs" list though. I'll try to hunt it down tomorrow. Thanks again. |
