1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Then a message will pop up click on I'll be careful,I promise. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.
NOTE:this trick only works for broadband users not for dialup

I did that stuff a big while back. Uhm, I think it did speed up, Iunno if by 10 times, lol. Just follow the instructions exactly =]
And the last option isn't described correctly, it acts at the same speed, but it only shows the content with a 0 delay. Basically, it doesn't change the speed at all, but it shows everything once it's read instead of waiting for elements to be loaded, which will make it look faster. The other two options do speed up the webz.

It worked for me  try restarting your computer for full effects to take place

i did it but i dont really notice a difference in web page loading the only difference is that downloads that would usually take an hour are now only takin 15 mins
