Money: 630,910 My Mood: | Need help :s Okay so my mom is threatning to install one of those faggy parental things so it limits me to 4 hours a day.
Now 2 things, she can't download it if she can't get on so I put a password on my admin profile and took out the guest profile. Now she is forcing me to put it back on.
Now I have 2 question, one is there a way to make my guest so she can't download anything on the on that profile or 2, is there anyway I can take the parental thing off if she does put it on? |

I mean, if you're on a admin account Trev, and your mum puts your admin account on parental controls then she's pretty dumb (No offence) because you can easily uninstall it.

If she has installed the parental controls as the administrator, it will govern the guest accounts. If she's set the guest accounts up properly, they will be unable to install or uninstall software, which obviously includes the parental controls.
If you're forced to use the computer as a guest account, you're pretty much screwed. What I would do while you still have access to the administrator account is create an additional account with administrative privileges, and just use that. It will still appear on the login screen, though.

From there you can edit groups, accounts, etc. In Vista and above the functionality was removed as it was a huge security hole. |
