Okay, so I've had my sound system for, quite a lot of years.
It's worked fine on every computer I've put it on, aside from this one now.

It was working perfectly a few days ago, and before that no problems.
But all of a sudden all I'm hearing is a static, without music or sounds even playing in the background at all.

I've went through my device manager and all that crap.
Made sure the drivers are updated, and everything.
I've read something where I might have to change something around in the bios,
but if it's something relating to that, why would they have worked before?
And just suddenly stop.

Please help

Hook them up to something else to see if they still to work?

What is the name of your sound system and what's your OS

Whether or not you're probably using the built-in motherboard audio and not a sound card the solution is pretty much the same. Either way, if it's built in you should uninstall and then re-install the audio drivers which are probably realtek and if you're using a sound card you have to remember that you need to uninstall the built in audio drivers and use the ones meant for the sound card. If that doesn't work then check to see if the speakers are plugged in all the way and if they work in another computer.

I forget exactly what I done, but it is fixed now. thank you guys lol.
it's an ancient system, something from "Cambridge Soundworks", which I've never even heard of it. I'm using XP Home though, and some sort of MSI sound card.
Im not too computer savy, in lack of better terminology.
