The seasons of my life,
Passed by with the years,
The kindness and the hate,
The smiles and the tears,
A spectator from above,
An autopilot on the ground,
I was so endlessly lost,
Until you made me found,
You grasped my lone hand,
And showed me a way,
You explained how to smile,
You taught me what to say,
You understood all my problems,
Helped find a way through,
Every time I felt down,
I knew I had you,
You brought me the moon,
And even the sun
You made me a galaxy,
But you said you weren’t done,
I don’t know what love is,
But I really hope it’s her,
Cause this girl is my life,
This girl is my cure,
This girl gave me light,
This girl took my pain away,
This girl is my second,
Minute, hour and day,
This girl made me whole,
This girl brought me home,
This girl I happened to meet,
This girl named Simone.
