So, I'm starting again and I thought I'd show you guys some of the stuff I've done. I really need help choosing another camera though...my birthday's coming up so I'm looking to get a fairly decent camera so I can start taking better pictures.
These are fairly new (last two are my older ones)

Any recommendations? | That depends on your budget, what you shoot, and how serious you intend on becoming. Answer those and I can help you out.

Thing is I shoot just about anything, from portrait to landscape, so I need a camera that's pretty versatile. As for budget - I'm becoming a university student in a month, so it's pretty low!

I don't really recommend a bridge(like you have now) because it combines the downsides of both compacts and DLSRs... small sensor in a big and heavy package that is uncomfortable to transport, a compact can just be in your pocket all day. |

Sorry that I can't help on the camera issue.

Especially if you plan on doing more photography in the future, then the best suggestion is an entry-level DSLR. There is lots to choose from for your budget. If you want to buy used, you can buy a Canon Rebel XTi with a lens for around $400.
Lenses are of course, the biggest investment for a DSLR, and you pay through the nose for quality.

I'll have a look at an entry-level DSLR, it sounds like what I'm looking for
