Writing Creatively

There once was a prince with a colorful hat.
He climbed up his tower, quick as a cat.
Unfortunately for him, the assassin saw his cap.
As he reached the top, on his shoulder came a tap.
"Say Boy, are you from Corince?"
"Yes sir, I am the prince".
Quicker than his reply, came a blow to his eye.
And down the prince tumbled, on this day he did die.

All of it was written in about 5 minutes, while I was resisting the urge to play games on my computer. In class.

Its quite good really! Although a few more lines might make it a better/more unique storyline.

Being a creative writer myself, i thought it was a cute, amusing story. It sounds like something i'd make up if i was desperate to rhyme (i really like rhyming.) Either way, it gave me a laugh, so bravo.
