Is this the film it calls for?

Yeah, that's the most common type of Polaroid film, Polaroid 600.
If you're looking for film by the Impossible Project, you'd want PX 600 (B&W), or PX 680 (colour). Last I heard however, is that IPX's colour film is very finicky, as they are still developing it.

I'm not really looking for anything fancy or special. Just what will work for this camera.

Well, that's probably your only choice then Unless you want to buy a Fujifilm Instax camera, they still make instant film for that brand.
