My gf says she doesnt know what love is, or how to love.........and when i tell her i love her she doesnt know what i mean.........
i dont konw what to tell her or what to say........is there anyway i can explain or show her or make her understand..........???

yeah i understand and yeah i dont always say the words i tell her like how much she means to me and how important she is and stuff like that, but still shes says she has no idea what it really means she doesnt understand..........anyother ideas, why she feels like this and how she can know what love is...........????

Is she even mature enough to love you back and know? Most people have a hard time knowing what they want. They think they know, but then they realize it doesn't make them happy or that things have changed and they are no longer happy.

Love....funny thing, right? Media and society make us believe that love is all about feelings and how two people feel for each other and feeling butterflies in your stomach. Wrong. If feelings are what you're basing love on, then most likely you are infatuated. I would know, I have been there. Maybe this is what your girlfriend is thinking. Maybe she only feels love between the two of you and knows that just feeling it is not enough. It's funny that this should be a topic, b/c I think the quote I have in my signature pretty much explains love. Love is action. Love is being able to show feelings. I am not talking about sex. Basing love on sex is pure lust and incredibly stupid. I am talking about being there for her, comforting her, doing little things for her, holding her, etc. Don't tell her you love her.....show her!
