ok, so here's the thing:

i have this girlfriend whom i've known since i was in the fourth grade, and we've been pretty good friends, not really close or anything, but recently we started dating, and that's been all fine and good, but a couple of weeks ago, i met this girl....
...and as much as i hate to say it, i'm falling in love with her. we're baisically perfect for eachother, we like the same music (yeah, not very common for kids in middleschool now-a-days to be listening to stuff like bob dylan, the beatles, n' led zepplin), we have baisically the same sense of humor (we're both pretty dark and sadistic

) and we both have the same political and philisophical veiws.
i KNOW that she likes me and wants to go out, as do i, but i still have my girlfriend...
she lives really far away and we never talk, we barley ever see eachother, and we have, really, NOTHING in common. I love her and all, but i really think i should break up with her, but the BIG problem is, she's really needy and clingy, kinda desperate. we went out a couple weeks ago and she kissed me, and appearently it was her first kiss.
i feel bad about leaving her but the relationship JUST CAN'T WORK.
what should i do?

sounds familiar and trust me it wont work out, just tell her its over but dont tell her its because youve found this new girl itll will just make her fell worse about herself.

things change, u cant b trapped by her. if u dont wanna b with her, then dont. the longer u keep it going the mroe itll hurt her, especially if ur not into it.

Then shes NOT as clingy and desperate as you think.

If the relationship is not going to work, leave her.

HORRIBLE SITUATION! Wait for a little bit and if it doesn't work out with you two seriously just break up with her and say lets just stay friends. Then go out with the girl you "love".
