Does my friend fancy me? Pleasepleaseplease help :S

Well, i'm 14 (girl) and last year I changed schools. I'm in my swcond year there now and I am in a group of friends with a mixture of boys and girls... For a while i'd sort of liked my friend previously but now I really really like him. We are in nearly all the same classes and hang out together at breaks everyday. I'm not sure if he likes me or not. I'd say we are the closet girl/boy relationship in our group, we always havea laugh together, have loads in common and get on really well. We also make eyecontact a lot and he doesn't object to us sitting together when he could sit with one of his other friends But, he wouldn't tell anyone if he did like someone so i'm kind of stuck. What should I do? Please help me

There's no way to know (based on that) whether he does or not.

Maybe just you and him should go out somewhere and it might become more clear whether he likes you in that way or not. He's probably shy to do anything while there's loads of people around.
