So let me tell you the works before i tell you my problem.

I am a guy and im 16 years old and i am currently dating (not labeled gf/bf) a girl the same age as me that goes to a different school. We have known each other for about 2 years but we actually started to hardcore talk to each other probably at the end of september. So far things have been going smooth with her and i have grown to like her a lot and i know she likes me too because she said that she liked me like she never liked anyone else and that she never really likes anybody until me. Also, all her friends say that the only guy she is not a bitch to is me, but the thing is we havent really taken that next step like being labeled a bf/gf. I really want to but she said that she wants to wait and that she really would rather have a boyfriend that can drive, which i think is just a totally bullshit reason. I mean it would be easier but still. I really like her and im pretty sure she likes me a lot too, but i dont know what i should do. Should i just keep doing what im doing and maybe she will eventually change her mind or should i try to take action about it?

get a driver's license!

Dude (OP), it just sounds like she's making excuses. I mean, if she really does feel that strongly about you, there's no way in hell she'd give a damn if you can drive or not. Seriously. Maybe she's just afraid of that commitment or whatever. Regardless of the reason, you can't force her to do anything, so I think it's probably just better to wait.

idk wat to tell u really. but getting a liscense is a good first step...if ur old enough. in NJ i gotta b 17 for a permit...its sucks. i went to north carolina once n u can drive at 15 there.

She is being a bitch...she's telling you that she likes you and then goes ahead and says she would rather have a bf who can drive.
I think she's just leading you on, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

yeah i am actually getting my permit tomorrow because its my 16th bday tomorrow...in NJ you get your liscense at 17 so i have to wait a year.

not everyone wants to have a relationship where you don't see each other or you have to get your parents to drive you

Thanks for the help everyone, we talked it out..since there is nothing i can do about myself driving unless i want to be a badass and break the law, she admitted it was stupid she said it and a stupid excuse to not being my girlfriend
