Ok. I have this problem. There's a girl at college who is really flirting with me. She's even texted me saying she wanted to be near me. I've found out from her friends that she likes me.
I'm really scared now. I don't know what to do.
Before I found out about this, I thought it'd be nice to have a girlfriend, but now that I can have a girlfriend, I desperatley want to get out of it.

I think I feel this way because I don't think that she is the right girl for me.

The real problem is that I have no experience with girls or dating. How am I supposed to tell her that I'm not interested without hurting her feelings.

I really don't want to upset her. What do I do?

I'd really appreciate any advice.

The thing is, I can't imagine spending the rest of my life with her. I like her but I don't really feel she would be the right girl for me to spend my life with.

maybe shes not looking for any lifelong commitments either. just take it slow. see how it goes after a couple of weeks, if you still dont like her as a gf just ask to be friends

So really, dont be a dick, and just go out with her, and how do you know she isnt? And does it matter at the moment, how are you going to find the right girl with out dating around?? You need to date girls so that you can find what you REALLY like..

Completely depends on what kind of girl he wants.
If he wants one that's willing to compromise sexual purity before marriage, then your advice makes sense.
If his s/n is any indication of what he's about, I'm doubting that's what he wants.

Yeah, what im saying is that part was a joke.. Im a christian, and have been. You need to date girls and see what they are like even if you dont do anything, other then talk and maybe make out.. but you need to see what you like..

Well, I've avoided her for a few days but I know I can't keep avoiding her. I'm going to talk to her on Monday.
I have it all worked out. I'm gonna have several friends with me as well as her and I'll just tell her that I'm not interested in the nicest possible way.

How old are you? It's not like you're going to be tied down to this one chick your whole life. It's called dating not getting married. If you don't want to date her then be honest. Don't tell her friends. Because that would make you look bad. Tell her.
