I'm 13 yrs and there is a girl in my class (who is 13 yrs too) that I really like but i'm not sure if i should ask her out or not. I'm a complete nerd at my school but we have been talking a bit lately over facebook. Btx she is a sportyish girl that does gymnastics and cheerleading but is not particuarily popular

Yes, 13 is a great age because you don't have to deal with the stress of having a relationship while going through the academics of high school. Just know though that a lot of girls are more dumb at that age and will say no to dating for all the stupid reasons

If she says no, you can still act like a tough kid in front of your friends who never asked a girl out before because they don't have the balls too. That way, they can't let you down or make you feel bad

Normally I say yes, but the younger the dude is the more likely he is to spring that shit out of nowhere like "Surprise! I like you. Let's be bf/gf!" and of course get shot down. It's probably better to talk to her more in real life (eff facebook) for about a week or two and establish some flirting / chemistry and whatnot before asking.

You've only spoken on Facebook. Talk to her in person, hang out with her, establish whether you truly like her (I've had some people I fancied.. Until I spoke to them and realized I actually can't stand one of their quirks that you obviously won't notice of you only talk online!). Lead up to it, don't just ask her out out of the blue!!

No matter what the outcome, you should be proud of yourself for having the guts to do such a brave thing ask her out!, if she says yes, then woopp go you! but if she says no, think of it as a lesson, think of what you can improve on, but remember your 13 years old. Their are plenty (and i mean plenty) more fish in the sea!

You gotta believe in the underdog, in yourself. Never doubt what you can do. Anyone else can tell you that you ain't capable of something, prove them wrong.
Show them that, no matter what, if you want something bad enough, you get after it. You never know, she might dig you.
