Crush is having boyfriend troubles, but leaving 6 months

Hi everyone,

I've liked this one person for around a year, she's an exchange student.

I'm currently 16, and this is the first person I've genuinely had an interest in.

I've talked to her multiple times for the past year, went for coffee with her one on one heaps of times (I mean I just did twice last week) - I even met her overseas in her home country because, I so happen to have family there as well.

However, she has a boyfriend (I found in around 6 months after I had started interacting with her). It's a long distance relationship. For the past few weeks I've found out that things with her boyfriend aren't going very well, he's not responding back etc. etc. When asked by her friends she doesn't even want to talk about him let alone mention his name.

We already are good friends, but she has no idea about what I really feel about her as I tend toplay the cool guy around her. It tends to work as I'm very tell and well figured, my voice is quite deep as well. (In reality I'm a coward for not telling her my feelings for so long).

Anyway, she's going to back to her country for good in around 6 months - should I just tell her? How so?

My main worry is that if I tell her now, then the next 6 months will be very awkward if she rejects me. If I tell her right before she leaves than the rejection wouldn't be that bad.

But, on the flip side if I tell her too late and she does actually like me back.. Well then.. We'll have like a week as a couple.

Any help and/or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Don't hesitate
Tell her. Cause if she leaves and you don't you will have that
Regret for the rest of your life
Sure there is always a worry of rejection but its always worth a try
I'm sorry the love of your life is leaving

it's never easy especially when you haven't told that person and they don't know how you actually feel
But in all honestly you need to tell her
Tell her everything. Tell her how you feel- why you feel that way etc
Don't leave a single detail out
No. You don't wanna make yourself seem desperate but if it comes down to it try dropping hints
Or doing nice things for her. Maybe take her out one night and when you take her home kiss her goodnight
If that doesn't drop a bomb shell and she doesn't clue in then idk what to say

Dude, how the fuck you gonna let a little worry on your ass prevent you from telling her how you feel. Go up to her tomorrow and tell her that you appreciated her friendship and get her a little something, like a lil5 dollar gift or even something from the 99 cent store.
