Why are a lot of girls, (I understand not all ) so bloody insecure?
I know a lot of girls who are really insecure, my cousin's ex for example. She's 17 he's 16, she's having his kid (early I know), he has a very good paying job, and I know he loved her to bits, and wouldn't dream of cheating on her. Yet for some reason, she accuses him of shagging nearly every girl he's in contact with. It pissed him off so bad that they split up, and I don't think he wants her back (though he says he is definitely not going to neglect his daughter when she's born). Now the poor kid's gonna have split parents before she's even born, because my cousin's ex was so insecure.

Another example.
My bloody MSN pic! It's of me and a girl when I was out with my mates. And I mean mate. The girl in the pic with me is one of the best friends I've ever had, and she means the world to me, and I love her as a friend. Yet I've been told by my other mate's girlfriend that if my girlfriend sees the picture, it would make her feel jealous and insecure! WTF??!!

I love my girlfriend, but I'm not giving up my friends for anyone or anything, and I'm not gonna just stop having pics taken with mates just because they're female.

This is something that's been really pissing me off. I understand there are girls that aren't like this, but from what I can see, most girls are.
Anybody like to tell me why?

Every girl has a stereotypical view of a guy.

And obviously, if a girl really loves a guy they're so scared of losing them that it makes them feel jealous if they see their boy with another girl.

Although tbh, a few guys are the same.

"If you trust, you don't get jealous." That includes trusting yourself, partner, and relationship. If you don't trust yourself, the person you are in a relationship with, and your relationship as a whole... you're GOING to be a jealous person. Jealousy is disgusting and I hate it. I don't understand it at all. Then again, I've never been a jealous person. I realize that people will always find someone else attractive, they will always want to have sex with someone else, they will always have friends of the opposite sex, etc. That goes for both males and females. Just because you're in a relationship, doesn't mean that you're suddenly not allowed to have a life or being a human being with urges and desires. If your girlfriend gets mad over a picture like that, it's her problem. She can't be upset with you for having friends and if she does, she's not worth your time.

2) I said that to may mate's GF and she had a go at me saying I don't care about my GF, which is bullshit, I just care about my mates more. That's not a bad thing is it? Or will it be bad just 'cause I'm a bloke? 'Cause girls get really pissed off when boys try to stop them seeing as much of their friends, yet when it's the other way around it's a completely different story.

Btw people, I'm generalising here, I know there are people not like this but I just have the impression the majority are.

I detest people who treat women like shit, I've even threatened people who have treated mates like shit, so if I were to cheat, I'd be a hypocrite.
