I've been going to school with this girl for maybe 6 years now, and we never spoke before early this year. We both have the same friends (shes a year younger though) so it's not like were from different groups at school. When we started talking it started as an inside joke about something random. Then about 3 weeks of us talking in person she somehow got my number and started texing me out of the blue. I guess my question here is are these good signs in my favor considering I'm no Brad Pitt (for some background I've been told I'm similar to Kevin James aka The King of Queens lol)? If this sounds good, what should my next move be, I mean I don't want to come off as crazy aggressive you know?

My biggest pitfall is that friendzone, thats what happened with my last relationship if you want to call it that lol.

It all depends on what's on the texts and if she shows signs in person. I don't think anyone can tell what's going on without that information though.

Yea as far as the texting goes, it started as stuff on the lame inside joke we have lol, then I managed to change it to actual coversation. Nothing obvious but just talk. I just bring that up because of her just going out and getting my number and texting me randomly. I just want some back up before I do anything stupid because I'm bound to do that lol. I'm not going into another attempt until I have PLENTY of good advice.

just ask her whats shes doing on the weekend.
stuff like that.

Yeah i think you've got to make it obvious what your intentions are BUT not come on to strong. Getting the right balance is difficult lol.
