Advice?
Alright, here's my situation in a nutshell. In elementary school I went to school "C". School's "A", "B", and "C" were supposed to channel to one middle school and "D", "E" and "F" went to the other middle school in my area. I lived about 1/4 a block away from my elementary school so that put me on the list to go to the first middle school which would have me riding bus since it is very far away(out of the city) but my grandparents live really close to the other middle school and it would be drive or walking distance. I ended up leaving all of my old friends and going to the other middle school. Needless to say I didn't keep in contact with them since I was used to only seeing my friends during the day(I would never clean my room so they couldn't come over or I couldn't go over to their houses). As for the new kids at the middle school they felt the need to try to appear very "mature". I did call one of my old friends to see if they did it at the other middle school which they didn't. Now I didn't exactly make friend with anyone until 8th grade year because I didn't really have interests that were similar to theirs.(I liked anime, they liked reality shows, I like drawing, they like sports, etc). So then we get to High school and I am excited to see my old friend unfortunately who have changed just like the kids at my middle school did so much that we didn't have anything in common anymore. Around 10th grade I got they courage to start talking to the crush I've had since 6th grade and this year I've told her all of this and asked her how would it be possible for me to get a girlfriend in a student body which dislikes me. She first was really suprised that I had never had one not even one of those fake middle school ones and then told me all of these thing which didn't and still pretty much don't make sense to me. For one she said when she has mentioned me to other people who I have been going to school with for more that 3 years and they cant even picture what I look like or what I like to do. While others will say "Oh he's that black guy that draws really good". We couldn't think of why this was until she finally had a normal class with me this year and she thinks she found out what it is. I have an Algrebra ll class which is really small and has a really lineant teacher. By five minutes into the class you have the assignment done and most kids are taking and laughing and such. She looked over in my direction and noticed I was sitting there by myself drawing. Every once and a while a student would come by and comment on my current work but thats it and she asked why I didn't talk to anyone and I said that no one started a conversation with me. Then she went on about how "smiling and talking" more would help which doesn't help much if no one talks to you or talks about a topic you know anything about.
So now that you know that I have a question. Should I try to get a girlfriend in a student body that thinks they "know" me and is full of girls way more experienced than me or should I wait until college and build a better reputation now know what not to do?
