hey guys. i have this weird, kinda awkward situation that happened today? idontknow. well lemme start off by saying this is about my ex boyfriend, we broke up almost a year ago. anyways... we both are friends with this one guy, lets call him tim. and we'll call my ex billy. sooo today i was walking around after school and tim sees me.. so he stops to talk cuz we're friends, and he hugs me and stuff. anyways billy like turned the complete opposite way and just stood there.. like he was afraid to come up to us... and then he saw some girl he knew and like yelled out her name but she didn't really respond and he just stood there. he was literally turned in the other direction, with his back towards us, just standing there. there was hardly anyone else in the hall. i don't know, i felt bad for him. why would he do that? i mean its been almost a year.. you'd think it wouldnt be so awkward. what should i do? [just for kicks, later i accidentally hit his foot w/ my bag hehe awkward... he just gave me a confused look hehe] thanks for any help
I don't think you have a problem really... He could be fine, he could still care for you and feel uncomfortable seeing you hug other guys... Either way though, providing you aren't leading him on there's not really anything you can do. You just need to leave him to try to move on =) It would be nice if you tried not to rub his nose in it though
After being with someone for a while, and then you see them with other guys/girls, still like them or not, you get the mentality that you shouldn't watch or stare at them because your afraid they'll think you still like them. Usually, the awequardness never passes.
