k a girl i know is really REALLY into me. As in- we'd be dating right now if we could be.
The problem: She has a fiance. She doesn't have feelings for him any more though. From what she's told me, the reason she hasn't gotten rid of him yet is because her parents expect her to get married now.
She says she wants to find a way to make this work for us but first she needs to get her fiance to get over her and convince her parents that she doesn't like him any more and doesn't want to marry him. She's only 17 by the way. Any suggestions on how she can go about this?
Sorry but it sounds to me like she is making excuses to put off dumping him. She's engaged to the guy... i'm guessing she may still have some feelings for him. Maybe she's afraid of hurting him.
Whatever she's thinking she's being extremely selfish leading you both on and she would be lucky to have either of you. She needs to finish with her fiance. She doesn't necessarily have to tell him it's for another guy. Then, how hard is it to say to her parents "I don't like him anymore". Simple. THEN you guys can think of getting together.... although i'd advise not straight away.
Wow...no offense, but that girl sounds quite dumb and obviously doesn't even know what love is. She's 17 and engaged and doesn't even "like the guy anymore". You would think she would LOVE him since she's engaged to him. She seems like a fickle and immature little girl who needs to grow up before even having a boyfriend, let alone a fiance. I think you should look for a girlfriend elsewhere.
