What's he doing?

I don't understand what he's doing. Is he just being a funny boy or is he flirting? Maybe if I explain a bit more... (Thanks in advance for help & sorry for the length

!)

Me and Adam are in different grades (i'm the grade below). We talk a lot on MSN, and sometimes during spare. However, we're always argue about stupid, petty things, but after are closer.

On Friday, a large group of us stayed over night at school for World Vision. At the beginning of the night we didn't talk much just said hi and talked a little. Then we separated into teams to play capture the flag. I was the person to guard our side where the dividing line. At one point, it was him standing on the other line to stop me if I were to cross, or vice versa. We were just making mild threats to eachother, like 'you can't touch this' and stuff.

After the game everyone went their separate ways, I went to the games room. After a while, me and my friend got really bored and we went to the teachers lounge to play some ping pong. Adam came in and after a few games we talked. My friend eventually left, I guess she got bored of me and him talking, and sort of excluding her. A teacher asked Adam to get something from her car, and I followed, so the school doors wouldn't close behind him and because he asked if I was coming. After we gave the teacher the stuff from her car, me and him started on a walk around the school. He told me some stuff I wasn't allowed to tell anyone else. At one point he was looking outside, and I was sitting on an opposite bench-type thing and hes like "look at the street lights they're going crazy." I couldn't see from where I was sitting and told him that. He patted his legs and said sit here, but then we both started to laugh. As we were walking back down the stairs, he asked me if I remembered the show "Hey Arnold!" and I said yes. He said that we're like the girl who pretends to hate Arnold but really loves him. At first I thought he ment I was the girl, but then he said, only opposite. Reffering to me being Arnold. I just laughed and said I don't have a unibrow.

I tried to finish telling him this story about my friend but we kept getting interrupted and had to go for one of the World Vision meetings. As we were walking I told him to stop arguing with me because I'm right (we were arguing about something silly again), and a teacher told him we argue like a married couple. After the meeting we had to separate because it was 'cerfew' and the girls slept on one side, the guys on the other.

The next morning I didn't really see him until they wanted us all to gather for another meeting in a circle. So as we were sitting on the ground I was leaning on my hands beside him and so was he. He put his hand (or fingers, can't remember) on mine and when I looked at him we laughed. The group leaders wanted us to separate into groups of four to talk about the famine for World Vision. I forget what they asked us to talk about, but our group was right beside his, and he said, well I really wanted to get with this girl and he was staring at me and I stared back and my face was like :| , and we both laughed.

After the meeting, we all had to go pack up. My friend wanted to go see Adam and his two friends because they were watching a television show in the art room, but I didn't want to so I dropped her off there and walked to the big hall, were we played dodgeball. Not many people were playing but I looked at the time and instead saw Adam like two steps away from me. I was like "When did you appear?" and we talked for a bit. They separated us by the grades, and of course, it was 12s/11s on one side, so we both got separated. He said to the other team "Don't hit Alice, nobody aim for her." I was very embarassed. After, when he switched to my team, because he was the last standing, he turned to me and said "You can hide behind me." I was like well why? And he replied "I don't want my babe (or babs, can't remember) to get hurt." I rolled my eyes and was really confused, he's never called me that before. I got out in a few rounds on my team, and he switched over to the other team again, and he got hit as well. He came up to me and asked me if I wanted to go on a walk to get water or something so I could finish my story. I said no, but I should have probably gone.

Anyways, to make the rest of the time easier, he hit me with a frisbee and I "got mad" and he sadi sorry and I was like its okay, but I was just joking and hes like is it okay with a hug? So I gave him a hug. Later, when it was time to go, I said goodbye to my friends, and apparently he leaned over to another friend and said "She better say goodbye to me" and something else, but my friend couldn't remember. I didn't think about it though.

The whole night/day he said some risque things as well.

So, was he just being jokey, flirting, or does he like me? (And why are guys so confusing

. Normally with guys, if anything happens, it just does, there really isn't any in between stuff.)
