Drama at the rodeo, lol.

Get ready, lol.

Ok, me and this guy have been talking for about four weeks. I like him so much, but I just wish I knew how he felt about me. He just got out of a three year relationship, and he isn't quite ready to date yet he says. I have given him his space, but I don't know if I just need to move on??

Well, this guy rodeos and stuff, like my brother. They are pretty good friends, and always help each other out with bull ridin. I stayed the night up at the rodeo, and he was there till about 2:00. (Everyone usually stays up late, dances and parties). Well my brother’s gf and I were walkin around, and we met up with that guy, and some of his friends. The guy I like had been drinking a tad bit, so he was a little more talkative and not-so-shy. We kept makin jokes and stuff, and then he told me that I had the prettiest eyes, in front of his friends (Usually, he acts all manly and stuff around them), and just being nice. Well, all of us decided to walk back to his truck, and he put his arm around my shoulder and kept playing around with me. About halfway there I put my arm around his waist, and then kinda felt nervous so I just put it back by my side (he still has his arm around my shoulder). He said “What, put your arm back around me, you too shy?” So I did.

Well, we just got to the truck when we saw my cousins were at the camper, a few hundred feet away and called my brother’s girlfriend and me to come over there. We started walking that way, and told those guys to drive by our camper. Well, the guy driving the truck didn’t really want to, so he ended up leaving, taking the guys with him. I text that guy I like, and was like “We were kind of waiting on y’all, but never mind. Later.” He didn’t say anything back, but about twenty minutes later her calls me back, and tells me to come outside, he'll be there in a minute. I do, but by the time I get out of the camper, my cousin told them to leave (my cousin thought they were different guys). So, they left again. This time, they were heading home, so I was a tiny bit upset. I called him, and we started talking about things. I was kinda nervous, but I asked him if he was ‘talking’ to other girls. I said if he was, so would I. He said it was ok if I talked to other guys (though he sounded dissapointed, so I told him I wouldn't)He just said he has some girls that are just friends, and I told him that’s not what I meant, I meant like 'talking talking' to other girls, as in liking other girls. He was like "I like you, you're cool" I was just like "Cool, huh? Ok..." and he said yeah, and that I needed to come to this rodeo sunday and watch him, but he just got in the car with his friends, so he said just text for now. So, he text me first before I could even text him.

him:Hey, sexy
me: sexy? psh, lol. but idk i was askin about talkin to other ppl bc a few guys have been kinda trying to talk to me or hittin on me, sorry.
him: that's alright.
me: i just kinda sorta liked you so i didn't really try to talk to other guys lol. (Then i started talking to him about what my cousins were talking about, and all he replied to was the thing i told him my cousin said)
We text for about fourty-five minutes, I ended up falling asleep (It was like 3 in the morning) and forgot to text him back.

Hm. And sometimes he just will not text me back for nothing, even if it's rather important, because he says he forgets, but sometimes he'll just text or call out of the blue. He flirts with me when he sees me, hugs me and stuff, and comes over every now and then (he lives kinda far off too) and we'll stay at my house, or go out. Friday night, he told his friend he might ask me to start dating him, but he never did, nor did he Saturday.

Today, he hasn't text me or called me.... Is he just trying to play me? Or is he serious about wanting to wait before he gets into another serious relationship? Wtf should I do?

well he seems pretty interested but he's at the stage of getting to know you and flirting and stuff. Alls you can really do is wait, if your willing to, if hsi mates said he's going to ask you out but then he didn't, well maybe he's a bit unsure and needs a bit more time.

Plus if he just got out of a relationship he might not want anything new and just likes the flirting, everyone loves to flirt/being flirted with.

It sounds like he definitely likes you, but try not to come on too strong. Just let him make the move, and if he doesn't call you or anything that shows he's a tease and he's being all flakey so don't bother and move on if he doesn't call you. Shows he's unreliable. And rather confusing.

Ehh. He is confusing as all get out. He always tells me he's too busy to text or call me sometimes. I mean, you have atleast five free minutes in a day.

Annnd. He hasn't contacted me all day, should I text him?

well. i text him. he text me back about an hour later (he was at a rodeo; my bad). we text for a bit and he called me. kinda a flirty conversation?
