Wich hurts more?
I tend to wonder why girls sugar-coat things when they try to tell you something for example
I dont want to ruin our freindship= I dont like you
I want to get to know you = I dont like you
Im not ready for a relationship= I dont like you
For me it would hurt alot less to get told I dont like you then have them sugar-coat it and have to wonder what she meant. It sucks. So if they sugar-coat it not to hurt you, why does it hurt more?

+ Rep for that, I'd rather be told straight out that she doesn't like me rather than "I'm not ready for a relationship" and keep me waiting and wondering in false hope for ages fucking my mind up just to tell me that same thing 2 months later when I asked her again. It's just trying to be nice about it, as well as guilt minimalisation. Telling someone you don't like them flat out feels mean, so we say it in a roundabout way. |

Actually, it doesn't always mean she doesn't like you. I liked a guy and when he asked me out I told him to wait. Its a different thing that a week l8r I said yes and now I'm really regretting it....

Agreed, doens't always mean they don't like you, i told a lad i wasn't ready for a relationship and wanted to get to know him better because thats just how i felt, we got together a couple of months later. |
