So i have this friend named dana (she's a girl) and we're good friends and i have had a crush on her. So yesterday we we're joking around on aim and she asked if i liked anyone and i said yeah. Then she started asking all these questions asking who i liked, and since it's her i liked i couldn't tell her. So she said ok and we started to talk about other stuff. Except that later i started feeling like if i don't tell her now maybe i won't ever be able to. So i told her and she was ok with it, but she doesn't really feel the same way. So the next day when i was in class i really wanted to talk to her, but my heart was aching me not to. (I don't really know how to explain that.) And now i don't know what to do. I mean hooray she's still my awesome friend, but not more than that. So it really makes me feel sad and kind of confused. I mean it feels weird to like someone when u know that they don't like you back the same way. And I feel really retarded for some reason.....
So if anyone has ever had this experience or something like it, how did u deal with it?
I just want to know your opinions and advice.

You'll get over it, I know that sounds mean, but It's true. My friend told my crush I liked him on Valentines day, Plus we were like really good friends, he didn't like me the same way. but I had to see him every day in orchestra, My heart hurt, but I got over it and so has he. We joke about it now and are really good friends again. But now I have a new crush, who just became My BOYFRIEND, good luck, and im sorry that happened to you.

WEIRD what instrument do you play, I play the Viola, he played the Bass

so we had to sit near each other all the time! time heals all wounds, thats a good saying. don't you think.
