Can't take the pressure

Theres this guy i used to like a while back but we got in a fight and he was rude and condesending to me so i didn't want much do to with him anyways he moved to a different city. Now it turns out his mom and i are in the same aerobics class and we are friends she assumes that i am friends with her son aswell and he's coming to town to visit for a couple weeks and she wants us to see each other and hangout. She has mentioned him several times but to be polite i acted chill since i didn't want to drag her in it and it happened a long time ago so i'm over it. Now the question is what should i say to her now that she thinks all is good but we really can't stand each other

Just tell her straight out that in the past you fell out,if she's your friend she'll understand even if it's her son.She might still want youto meet him again though, try patch things up, and well it's a worth a shot, nothing to lose really.

I guess but the thing is i have tried recently tried to reach out to him and by being friendly and saying hello are things on facebook but he never responded or anything which to me shows that he could careless i learned that if someone wanted to keep ties with you they would have found a way to reach out back but he failed to do so so i got the hint that its a no unfortunaetly he wants to live in the past so its not my problem i'd rather move on. His brother and i were friends as well but he twisted some things around now his brother wants nothing to do with me as well what if he does the same with his mom and i lose her as a friend too.
