i need help w/ guys!!!!!

y do guys always act like they're so cool around girls? ex: he does little things that saids he likes me but whenever i do them back he acts like it's nothing big or he's just like tooo laid back or something? idk if it's bc he's one of the cool guys or wat but it's making me think he doesn't like me anymore? but everybody including my mom thinks that he does like me bc all guys r just cool like that?.........i think i made him mad last night on aim when i asked this question bc he didnt reply & after some minutes he logged off?????

As a guy, I'd have to say that guys try to act cool because we are trying to attract the females.

If hes trying hard to sound cool in front of you, he probably likes you.

Yeah JCC is right. If he doesn't think anything of it then that means hes trying to maintain composure.

oh gosh! but i have 2 admit though i try 2 stay calm in front of him when really in the inside im screaming my head off but he drives me crazy sometimes trying to be so cool? he can't even like look me in the face sometimes? ugh! but he does blush when we talk and when i wave @ him smiling but how can i strike up a convo w/ out talking about school

personally what i hate most is when girls ask 10000 yes/no questions and anything related to school.
so if you wanna strike up a convo w/out school as a topic what you should do is talk to him about a topic you feel strongly about and ask his opinion on it OR tell him an interesting story that you or your friend did awhile ago and maybe he'll bring up a story of his own to keep the convo going. remember interesting is the key word here
