Cutting to the chase, we talked and realised we both really fancy eachother. I'm 16 and she's about 3 months younger than me, 16 also
I really really do like her, she is a sweet, charming, attractive girl, I was wondering if anyone else thaught that this could, in theory, work - us both fancying eachother - I'm from the UK and she's from the US. The last thing I want to do is hurt her.

I'm not gonna go too in depth about my internet relationship - that'd take fucking days - but I can tell you it was definitely worth it. It hasn't turned as well as we'd hoped (due to issues that have nothing to do with the distance), but we still plan on moving in together once I turn 18. And I was only 15 when we got together. (For the record, he's an Aussie and I'm a "Yank," as he says.) Our relationship trumps others people our ages are having in emotional connectivity and genuine love, despite being on opposite sides of the world.
Anyway, I'm rambling. People tend to be very narrow-minded about these sorts of things (see previous post), but, in reality, they can turn out quite wonderfully. They just take a little extra work. And if you really care about her, it's not that hard to put in that effort. I also think, if you're really good for each other, the distance will only be an annoyance, not a disadvantage.
So ya. Go for it. There's no sense is not trying.
