Okay, it's not directly my problem. It's one of my closest girl friend's problem.

She's been dating this guy for more than a year already. They've been on off for so many times. Recently, they got into an argument because the guy was jealous since my friend was talking to our guy friend. He basically pulled her away, and I haven't seen her after. The next day after that, she told me the guy spat on her face, slapped her and called her a slut. They broke up. What's worse, the guy hooked up with his ex and literally shoved that fact in my friend's face. I looked for her everywhere. And I found her in the girl's rest room. With a bloody swiss knife. She made a very deep cut on her left wrist. She kept crying and stuff. I went with her to the infirmary to get her wound stitched up. I confronted the guy. And he kept wanting to meet my friend to make things better.

I already told my friend a lot of times that she's in an abusive relationship. She was absent the next day after. And when she came back, they were back together. I

'm so sick of seeing her that way. She's a beautiful girl. I want to tell her mom about it. But by doing that would I be invading too much? What do I need to do to make her realize her situation?

I tried being the supportive friend. The up front friend. The indifferent friend. I'm worried she might take things to far the next time they break up..

I actually did just now. I called her mom up. Her mom was furious. I don't know...my friend might hate me for doing it... =(
I hope she'll understand it's for her own good.
